Course Overview

Within this course, students will have the opportunity to improve their understanding of the relationship between grammatical form and meaning (or function). They will work to develop their ability to recognize and use grammatical structures as tools for communication. The course employs project-based learning to help students deepen their understanding of English grammar and its practical application in communication. Through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and critical analysis, students will have the chance to enhance their ability to use grammatical structures naturally and effectively. Special emphasis will be placed on the interplay between form, meaning, and function, with the goal of equipping future educators with the skills to model accurate language use in their classrooms. By integrating theory with real-world applications, students will have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in language proficiency, enabling them to support learners' implicit language acquisition through meaningful interaction and communication.
