Students explore techniques for comprehension, critical analysis, and effective reading across various genres, with an emphasis on academic and literary contexts. The course is designed to enhance both practical reading abilities and critical thinking skills essential for academic success. Additionally, students have the opportunity to acquire strategies to read, analyze, and summarize texts more efficiently, while increasing their reading speed and fostering an awareness of personal reading habits, including the influence of first-language (L1) and second-language (L2) transfer on their reading process.
